shower transfer bench

Sick or disabled people can have trouble taking a shower or bath by themselves. Help a loved one be more independent by providing him with a shower transfer bench. With this, he won’t have much trouble getting over the tub wall or into the shower.

There are two types of transfer benches:

~Non-sliding – The user sits on the chair from the outside of the tub and scoots over on the seat to the inside.
~Sliding – With this, the user does not have to move. He can simply sit on the bench and then slide from outside to inside of the bathtub and back usually on rails, or some kind of frame.
