Eat enough calories to gain weight before trying to build muscle mass. If your goal is gaining muscle mass quickly, you need to have the motivation to be committed to a muscle building program. Make sure you eat six meals a day that are healthy and are full or protein. Also drink water often.
In order to build new muscle, your body must take in more calories than it burns off. This means you have to create a caloric surplus. The extra calories will be used by your body to repair muscle tissue damaged during heavy workouts which, in turn, will later result to building new muscles.
