Acupuncture is part of the traditional Chinese medicine that involves insertion of fine needles to the skin at specific points of the body. A human body is said to have different channels of energy that connects to various body organs. When these channels are blocked, the organs are damaged or they feel pain. Acupuncture helps relieve the pain by releasing the blocked energy in these channels. Acupuncture gained popularity because it treats the entire body system, there are no adverse effects, and there is no need to take synthetic drugs.
Today, acupuncture treatment is used not only to relieve pain. It is also used to treat the following ailments:
~asthma~allergies
~muscular injuries
~spinal problems
~common cough and colds
~influenza~insomnia
~high blood pressure
~gastro-intestinal problems
