The human body requires an assortment of natural foods to stay healthy. Thus, it is very important to include a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, raw nuts and seeds, legumes, spices and herbs in our diet to gain optimum wellness. The more varied the foods we eat, the richer our sources of nutrients become.
In general, people sometimes tend to overindulge in fat laden proteins, sugar, starches, and convenient fast foods. Coupled with a sedentary lifestyle, these types of food can be harmful to wellness. We become more prone to developing medical conditions and other illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and even cancer. Pay attention to the foods you eat today to prevent the onset of sickness that you will regret later.
