potty seat

Getting a toddler potty trained is a big accomplishment for the baby as well as for the mommy. In the beginning there will be problems. The baby might not like the feeling of sitting on a cold potty seat; or she might be forced to sit at a time when she is not ready. These are petty problems that can be easily resolved. Just remember to handle these problems calmly and keep moving forward with your training. Try to remove any pressures from your child and treat this process as just one more habit your child will acquire.
Choosing the right potty seat is part of the solution. We are all familiar with the potty chair. The advantage of the potty chair is that it is portable and can be brought wherever the baby is. The baby will recognize it and will be easily persuaded to take a sit. The disadvantage though is in the disposal and clean-up. Some seats snaps on to an adult toilet seat. The advantage of this is that disposal is as easy as flushing and as he grows bigger the shift to the adult toilet will be easier.
