My son is a year old. He is no longer a baby, but not yet quite a toddler. He is now running and can say a few words. My husband and I are now trying to potty train him. We started looking around for a potty chair and we saw that there were so many types to choose from. I thought that all potty chairs were the same, I thought that they were little plastic chairs with a removable bowl underneath, it turns out there were many more.
There is the traditional potty chair that looks like an ordinary chair and has a bowl underneath. Then there’s the potty chair that’s round like a toilet seat, soft and shaped to fit a child’s bottom. You put this potty chair or seat as some call it on top of a regular toilet bowl. Then there’s the toy potty chair, the one that looks like a real toilet bowl. It even has a play flush so the toddler can just pull or push a button a sound of a toiler flushing will be heard.
