Be able to respond to any emergency in case you happen to be the first on the scene. Always bring with you an Emergency Instruction Device or EID. This keeps responders focused on accepted protocols and treatment options correctly. It reduces panic and stress thanks to a voice coach that calms responders who arrive first at the scene.
An EID tells responders when to get, turn on and use the AED (automated external defibrillator). It gives yes/no questions to deliver step-by-step instructions for responding to over 30 medical emergencies within 12 trauma categories. It is like being on real-time training in first aid and basic life support.
