The television industry is one of the most exciting industries. You never know what the networks will come up with every fall. It would be great of a network came up with a totally new story or TV concept. Unfortunately, the networks tend to veer away from experimenting with new concepts and instead go for tried and tested formulas. Samples of these successful formulas are reality TV shows, sitcoms and medical TV shows. Those medical TV shows always have scenes showing a dying patient being revived using an automated external defibrillator.
An automated external defibrillator is that ubiquitous box that is always seen in many medical dramas. There is usually an automated external defibrillator in every ambulance. This is always being used on patients on the verge of dying. It is used to shock and revive patients who are not breathing. It is also used to aid in CPR.
