There are usually signs that will make you realize that you are suffering from an anxiety attack. If you are constantly tense, worried or on edge; if you are plagued by fears that you know are irrational, you should realize that it is a panic attack. You should take steps to overcome your fear. Find a quiet place to relax. Think about something else, things that are not related to what you are doing now.
Other symptoms of anxiety attack will include experiencing sudden heart pounding. If you feel that something bad will happen or that things will not happen they way you want it to, you are on the verge of an attack. Sometimes, physical manifestations precede a possible attack. This will include sweating, stomach upset or muscle twitches. On the long term it can be a cause for constant fatigue or insomnia.
