sleep problems

For two nights now, I spent my whole night lying awake. I did not know the cause of my sleepless nights so I decided to do some research on sleep problems. As usual, the main culprit is stress. I also did not realize that poor diet and working or reading in the bed can affect sleeping patterns. I also sometimes wake up with a stiff neck and a headache. I do not know if this is because I toss and turn a lot but it does give me problems for the rest of the day. However, I also learned that there are lots of ways to remedy my situation.
As much as possible, I don’t want to take any medication for anything. So taking sleeping pills is out. I think my sleep problems can be cured by a change in lifestyle. I’ll try to get more exercise and eat more healthy foods. I’ll also leave work in the office and not bring it home. I’ll also take a nice soothing hot bath and drink a cup of tea an hour before sleeping. Sleep problems can also be caused by a pillow that might strain your neck. It is better to try one of those specially formed foam pillows that cradle your neck and head and conforms to your shape. This may help eliminate those stiff neck problems.
