A lot of people love the beach. A lot of people also love going on cruises and taking boat rides. Yachting, parasailing, wakeboarding, surfing and other water sports are often portrayed as fun and challenging. The truth is that the ocean and other bodies of water can be dangerous too. This is why people on board boats, ships and some water sports are encouraged to wear a safety vest.
Each airline passenger is allotted at least one safety vest. All passengers aboard a cruise ship and those in boats must also have one safety vest each. There are a lot of things that can go wrong in the water. Any boat, yacht or ship can capsize due to strong winds and waves. Swimmers can pass out, experience a cramp or a seizure while at sea. A safety vest will ensure that whatever happens you will remain afloat until someone finds you.
