They often say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Generally, people with ugly skin are mostly regarded not pretty. Rosacea is a chronic skin disease that is characterized by redness or erythema. It usually starts at the center of the face covering forehead, nose and cheeks. This commonly affects areas of scalp, neck, back, ears, and chest.
Rosacea is very common among Caucasians (about 1 out of 20). Its cause is still unknown although certain triggering factors have been defined: stress, cold wind, anxiety, heat from sunlight, alcohol, caffeine and spicy food to name a few. There are treatments like topical cream application are now available to cure this skin disease. Vitamins and green tea are also known to help relieve rosacea. You may prevent this chronic condition by avoiding the above-mentioned triggering factors.
