If you are experiencing headaches, sleep problems, general anxiety or blurry thinking, you might be experiencing stress. Feelings of frustration can also be a sign of stress. If you know the symptoms pointing to stress, there is a bigger chance that you will be able to correct the situation on your own. For example, if demands from work are getting to you and you are starting to feel frustration and irritability creeping in, try to find ways to calm down quickly. You can do this by taking a deep breath, taking a walk or doing some simple exercises.
There are many ways to reduce stress. What is important is finding the one that will work for you. Some try de-stressing herbal supplements. Ginseng is said to empower the body to cope with stress if taken over a period of time. Others go for yoga and meditation. Sometimes, simply listening to calming music will help. Above all these, we should all learn to pace ourselves.
